This White Wizard costume was based off the costume worn by Gandalf The White from the Lord of Rings films.
The design is not intended to be 100% screen accurate, rather it was created to capture the look and feel of Gandalf the White. It is perfect for wearing at events, comic cons and any outing that a wizard style garment might be needed. All fabrics are of the highest quality and are a selection of ivory and off white hues.
Here are some photos of how this commission turned out. It was really fun to create for my customer as LOTR is one of my all time favorite stories. Click on the photos of a closer look at the details.
Costume set included a cape, belt, shirt, robe and under robe.
Closer detail work of all the fabrics can be seen below.
Of course no wizard costume is complete without a cape or cloak of some kind. The cape is fully lined in the same fabric.

Recently a couple contacted me about creating a set of pirate costumes for their wedding. After going over ideas and inspiration pictures we came up with the designs below. It was an honor to create bridal costumes for such a special moment in their lives.
One of the bride designs was a Tia Dalma Inspired costume with ornate silks and tapestry fabrics.
The second bride costume was a more classic pirate design that included a tailored wool coat, linen vest and tapestry sash. My customer really wanted to include some skull and cross bone buttons into her costume. So I was pleased when one of my suppliers had these detailed metal buttons for our project.
Each of the costumes feature high quality fabrics and are fully lined where needed.
Some more close up details of the costumes.

Pirate costumes are always popular any time of year and this was a fun project to create for a customer. The inspiration we used was the general style of coats that Captain Flint wore in the TV Series Black Sails. A screen-cap of the image used for inspiration can be seen below.
Here is how my customers custom commission turned out. All of the fabric is 100% linen.
Buttons are wooden with a rustic aged finish. Trim is a cotton blend work of cording details.
Pockets are welt pocket in design and allow for lots of room for a phone or pirate treasure.
Sleeves are accented with pirate style cuffs and a rough hemmed appearance to add a worn in vibe.
Coat is fully lined in a bamboo linen fabric. This add a nice weight to the coat when wearing.
