Greetings, Here are some picture of my SteamPunk Fairy Costume.
I created this for an event and also because I haven't yet done a fairy costume for myself. Thus, I decided to combine it with bit of a steampunk flair. So without further ado, here is my costume.

The Costume consists of a fully boned silk corset with detailed SteamPunk style sleeves, a victorian inspired skirt...and last but not least, a pair of metal and organza wings.
Here are a few detailed shots of the corset, painting and buttons on the bodice front.

The back of the wings feature a turn key, to create the look of a Victorian toy or perhaps a mechanical fairy created as an experiment.
Another view of the wings, I really liked the key in the back. Made it much more fun to wear.
